The Center for the Study of Institutional Diversity employs and works with people from a variety of fields. Elinor Ostrom has a part-time professorship with Arizona State University and has agreed to be the Founding Director for the new Center. Marco Janssen manage the day-to-day activities of the Center. Other faculty are Marty Anderies, Amber Wutich and Abigail York. Various faculty from other departments and schools within Arizona State University are involved with research activities of the Center. CSID is a sister center of the Workshop in Political Theory and Policy Analysis at Indiana University within a broader initiative to establish an international network of research and teaching centers that will further develop a coherent and cumulative form of institutional analysis and studies of institutional change and evolution.
